Blue Velvet provides a professionally organized night out at affordable rates. We are licensed until 4am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, and until 1am on other nights. Our function spaces are perfect for a variety of events including corporate functions to club nights, live band events, fashion shows, film screenings, comedy events and private parties.

Beverage Packages:
- Bar Tab
A pre-paid nominated amount can be placed on a bar tab with selected beverages or an open bar. The client will be advised when the amount is reached and given the option to increase or close the bar tab. Types of drinks available can be pre-selected. Note there is a minimum bar spend.
- Cash Bar
Your guests pay for their own drinks. Note there is a minimum bar spend.

2 hours – $28 per person
3 hours – $38 per person

Please note that we do not host 18th birthday parties or after parties – all guests for ANY function must be over the age of 18 years and possess valid proof of age identification. There is a minimum bar spend for private parties/events and all guests are expected to display acceptable behaviour. Damage to the venue will be payable by the person(s) identified as having caused damage or accepting liability or by the person(s) booking the function. Damage includes willful and accidental damages to property, plant & equipment. Damage also includes breakage and confetti/glitter/talcum powder, etc. The venue practices responsible service of alcohol. Bookings are only confirmed once payment of the hire fee has been received.
