- Hi Cameron, unsure as to whether you remember me. I arranged a party at your venue in May 2008 for my brother (we had a fantastic time). I would strongly recommend your venue to all my friends. Since then, a mate of mine is looking to book a venue for his party on the 20th Feb 2009. He attended my brothers party last year and is adamant that your venue is where he wants his to be held. - Hello Cameron and Elisabeth, thanks to you both, and Vanessa, our party at Blue Velvet was just wonderful and everyone enjoyed themselves from the first moment of arrival. The atmosphere, the venue, the welcome and catering were excellent, and you were perfect hosts – more than that. It was more like being in the home of good friends and feeling welcome and really well looked after. Everything was very well organised, the food was very good quality, and appreciated. And I think the drinks quality was good too. I only had a few glasses of the french bubbles, and that was lovely. Basically, we had some wonderful feedback from most of our friends, and all were impressed and pleased with the venue and all it had to offer.Both Michael and I were pleased that we made such a good choice of venue and arrangements.Mainly, I wanted to thank you both for your personal touch and lovely venue facility and quality food and drinks which you provided to our valued friends and guests. - For the last couple of years we have been running quarterly underground music events at Blue Velvet, and I can not suggest strongly enough how wonderful this venue is. The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly and have many times gone beyond the call of duty to make our nights a success. We host all range of live musicians from laptop artists and DJs through to complex electronic acts, and the PA and audio system is not only clear and excellent in sound, but also very easy to use, monitor and work with. As an overworked promoter it is wonderful to work with Blue Velvet, where everything is always set up ready for our specific needs on the night, and we and our artists can relax and enjoy the evening without stress. We love having the in house cash register available at the door to sell tickets and merchandise, and the venue always assists us with promotion and spreading the word. As one of the few true independent venues left, which cater to our wide demographic of audience, I would like to say again, Thank You, to the Blue Velvet staff and management. After initially working with you before 26th June, I was sure the venue was going to be the right choice for my brothers 10 year anniversary, but I must say that you really do have a very special venue and the shear uniqueness about it, made for a very enjoyable night by all.
